Caring Places Management is excited to welcome Alicia Wilson as the new Administrator for Forest Grove Beehive & Hawthorne House —a familiar face with a heartfelt passion for senior living and deep local roots in the Forest Grove community.
Fifteen years ago, Alicia accepted a job as an office manager at a senior living community while pregnant with her first child. What began as a practical next step quickly became something more: a calling. Over time, she developed a deep appreciation for the wisdom and individuality of seniors and found herself drawn to the relationships, stories, and everyday moments that make this work so meaningful.
Her connection to Forest Grove Beehive & Hawthorne House began even before she joined our team. When her best friend’s father was looking for care, they visited Forest Grove Beehive and immediately felt the warmth and compassion that define our community. Although he ultimately passed before moving in, the experience left a lasting impression. A year later, when the opportunity to work here came along, it felt like it was meant to be.
Alicia deeply believes in building meaningful relationships, honoring each resident’s individuality, and supporting families through every stage of the care journey. Education is a key part of her approach—she enjoys helping others better understand Assisted Living and Memory Care, and is always happy to answer questions or lend a listening ear. Her goal is to get to know every staff member, resident, and family, and to ensure everyone feels seen, supported, and truly cared for.
Originally from the Forest Grove area, Alicia spent several years in McMinnville but is thrilled to be back in this wonderful community. She’s especially excited to revisit her favorite local burger spot—Scottie’s Drive-In!
Outside of work, Alicia stays busy with her three kids and their blue heeler, Snuffles. They love spending time outdoors and riding quads together as a family. She also has a creative side—she was the lead singer in a band for 14 years and still loves to sing whenever she gets the chance (though she’ll pass on karaoke!). Whether at home or at work, time with loved ones means the most to her.
Over the years, Alicia has learned that kindness and a simple smile can go a long way—especially in the world of senior care. It’s that kind of heart-forward leadership that she brings to her new role.
