Artesian Place Assisted Living

The Staff have gone above on many occasions to make sure my Mother is well cared for. I would recommend Artesian for anyone needing assisted living.

Staff are caring, supportive and very helpful. 💗 A safe and comforting place for my dad. They have social activities and a great space for puzzles, pool and hanging out.

Angela and the staff are very caring and patient. They go above and beyond for their residents and the residents family members.The staff attempts to stay on top of any repairs that are needed. Facility is always clean and tidy. I am so grateful that I found them for my brother.

I’m writing this from the perspective of being an independent and occasional caregiver for a resident who resides at Artesian Place for the last four plus years. My ‘TOP TEN’ observations. (Edited because too long)
1. Management – Exceptionally qualified group of thoughtful and caring people. Empathetic, patient, knowledgeable and always professional. Ange Pitts (Administrator), Taylor Burkhart (Resident Care Coordinator), Amber Hall (Office Manager).

I lived at Artesian Place for 2 1/2 years and loved it! Everyone was so caring towards the residents and other staff members. The Executive Director, Ange, is amazing! She goes above and beyond to meet your needs. I had a studio apartment and it was so big and roomy. When I’m ready for assisted living again, Artesian Place will be my home!

I couldn’t ask for a more caring and thoughtful home for my father. My father never anticipated needing to live in an assisted living home and therefore never prepared. No one prepares a child to begin taking care of your parent. From the very beginning I knew we’d hit the lottery when we found Artesian place and manager Angie Pitts. The home is welcoming, warm, clean and provides a sense of peace in a time that can be very unsettling. I’ve never had a question where Angie or staff couldn’t help. The staff is professional and is always smiling. The activities calendar has something for everyone. I know my father could not be in a better home. Thank you to Angie and staff will never be enough!

I realize that I have only my own experience and perspective to go by, but I feel very fortunate to have found Artesian and grateful for having been able to move my parents there when I did. In the past few years, a number of my friends have stopped by to visit my parents, and they have often commented on how thoughtful, considerate, and friendly the staff are. I couldn’t agree more. I have never regretted our decision to go with Artesian Place, and if I were faced with a similar situation today, I would make the same choice.

Moving my Mom into Artesian Place was the right decision. Her overall health improved dramatically just weeks after moving her into this facility. The care, the food, and the social interaction were exactly what she needed. Then, the real test occurred – she fell and broke her hip. She had to be in a rehab facility for several weeks, but was able to recover and return to Artesian. Her desire to get back to her friends at Artesian was an important motivation in her recovery. Angie and her team have been flexible, understanding, and nothing but supportive through these past few years for not just my Mom, but the whole family.

Management and staff are truly focussed on providing the best care possible. It is really heartwarming to see such dedication and follow through for a difficult parent at these moments. They have been with our family through and thin, getting Mom moved to Artesian, assisting through all the twists, turns, working with Providence Hospice, coming up with ideas, recommendations that work, are effective, engage as a team with the family and health care. I cannot think of any other place, process that works as well, and makes our Mom as secure, supported by care, the health care system!

The staff at this assisted living go above and beyond for their residents. The building is always clean and smells good. It is nicely decorated for each holiday. The food is decent (especially for this type of setting). Activities are going on each time I have been in there. I would highly recommend Artesian Place to any family looking for an assisted living place for their loved one.

A special thank you to Valerie Macpherson (Administrator) and Angie Pitts (Resident Care Coordinator) for facilitating and expediting the placement of my neighbor after her discharge from multiple rehabilitation facilities. I’m especially grateful to a neighbor and former resident of Artesian Place who highly recommended the facility. It made my decision very easy.
